How to Identify my shower or cartridge

Troubleshooting your Shower Valve

Water leaking from controls

Damaged cartridge seals

Replace cartridge seals as necessary.

Water leaking from shower head after shut-off

Normal for a short period after use

Check that water pressures do not exceed the product specification.

If leakage persists, inspect and replace cartridge seals as necessary.

Fluctuating or reduced flow

Blockage in shower handset, hose, or filters

Inspect and clear any blockages.

Ensure maintained inlet pressures are nominally balanced and sufficient.

Check for airlocks or partial blockages in pipework.

Only hot or cold water from the mixer outlet

Inlets reversed (hot supply connected to cold, or vice versa)

Check that connections are correct — hot on the left and cold on the right when viewed from the front.

Rework pipework if required.

Outlet temperature too hot or too cold

No hot or cold water reaching the mixer

Check inlet filters for blockages.

Ensure installation conditions meet operating parameters.

Water temperature too cold

Maximum water temperature incorrectly set

Verify that the hot water temperature is at least 10 °C higher than the desired blend temperature.

The maximum recommended hot supply temperature is 60 °C.
